Work is slowly going ahead on our new holiday let.  We have been thrilled at the reservations and reviews on The Dairy and are hoping for the same response once The Granary is finished (probably end of summer).  This will be substantially larger (sleeping 6/8) but with a similar vibe ie a sympathetic renovation with all the mod cons but a rustic feel.  All 3 bedrooms will be downstairs, one master bedroom (superking or 2 single beds) with an ensuite bathroom – bath with shower over and 2 further double bedrooms and wet room.  Also downstairs is a living room with woodburner and large sliding glass doors opening onto the private patio/garden with views over the farmland, sea and Strumble Head Lighthouse.  There will also be a sofabed in this room if needed.  Upstairs is one big room kitchen/dining/living area reached by an oak staircase from the entrance hall downstairs or a completely separate access up some the steps to the side of the building.  It does take some imagination to visualise the finished build but some pictures below…….(Maggie and Sybil included!)
