We separated Tim from the cows at the beginning of this month. The young calves are growing quickly and are still feeding from their mums. We have seen a bit of bulling starting amongst the calves indicating the girls are maturing, whilst the other cows had stopped bulling so seemed like a good to time to...

The lamb has never let anyone touch her before.....She was found with her twin still trying to feed from her mum who had dropped down dead in the field. She has always been very anxious and nervous around people but has suddenly found her soul mate! Not sure who is enjoying it more!! This may seem boring to many but great excitement here as finally we have our EV charger up and running! We have an increasing number of guests staying with electric/hybrid cars and although there are public chargers about they are not proving very dependable. As we have three phase electricity here on the farm we were able to install a 22kW charger which should do the job quickly #zappi #evcharger #holidaylet #farmstay #petfriendly #pembrokeshirecoastalpath

Half way through lambing....highs and lows as always. This lovely ewe had the twins a couple of minutes before, she talks to them constantly-a gentle wickering just such a wonderful sound. Still too wet and cold to put any out, we spend so many hours just watching them play instead of getting on with jobs! Trying so hard not to get any favourites but one is just so gorgeous (obvious who it is!).
