End of December and time to have the sheep scanned to see who is pregnant and who having singles/twins/triplets.  Mixed lot of ewes this time, around half had lambs last time, the others new to it.  Steve has a mobile unit which once set up enables him to scan them quickly and efficiently.  The ewes just walk in one side out the other, a quick scan and spray of the appropriate coloured paint and all done.  Green for single lambs, blue for twins and red for triplets.  Out of 54 ewes, 6 were barren, 21 singles, 26 twins and 1 triplet.
