Planning for the house and holiday lets was submitted on 10th November 2017, apparently we should get a decision by January 20th 2018. We were obviously rather ambitious (and naïve) in thinking we would be able to move into our renovated farmhouse by the end of March! This is when we have to move out of the lovely cottage we are renting from our neighbours Mike and Cathy Kurtz.

Change in plans – we are now going to go ahead with the first holiday let as soon as possible, living in that once it is completed and then starting work on the house. This will mean moving back into the house for a short period (hopefully!)in the intervening months but the weather should be warmer and drier by then…..!!
