We knew that we had a pond within a walled enclosure, but had not had time to explore it until today.  What a beauty it could be!   Approached via a walled track-way from the garden, it opens to a wonderful pond area (rather overgrown at the moment!)……and here is the view from the far side…The area around seems to have been used as a dumping ground for old machinery too… have not uncovered everything yet, but here’s an example…Who knows what other treasures we’ll find here!
